I have a few obsessions, and one of them is Alice in Wonderland. I love the book, the movie, and the flamingo's. But my favourite character is definitely the Mad Hatter. I think most people are so boring and everyone thinks inside the box. The Mad Hatter is someone who definitely doesn't. And like I told in the post about the Circus I love people who are open-minded!
And another reason to love Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter are the ubercool hats! Last fashionweek I saw lots of them on the catwalk, and I chose the coolest hats to show you! I think to design hats like this, you need to be quite mad...

These are just some hats, but Alice in Wonderland has often been an inspiration for fashion and jewellery. But personally I think that's kind of 'been there, done that' so I prefer clothes that remind me on Alice in Wonderland instead of clothes that are purposedly 'Alice in Wonderland'-ish. I found these clothes that totally have the fairytale-factor!

As you can see I didn't post for a while, but now I've decided to really go for it! So here is the first post of a new... lets say term.
Every morning the schoolbell rings at 8.30, and every morning I can't help to smile a little: I made it, again! Because like almost every other teenager, getting up in the morning is the hardest thing ever. At seven the alarm wakes me up, and the first thought I have is: no. Not today. Today I'll stay in bed, with my head under my pillow, and they can scream at me as much as they want, but I'm not leaving this warm nest.
But of course after ten minutes or so, I drag out of bed and lie on my sofa for a while. Then I'm ready to face the day.
But, especially in winter, I have to face another dilemma in the mornings. Picking out a decent, preferably fashionable outfit. Maybe you know it: you've just been torn away from the love of your life(your bed), your feet feel cold on the floor, you're shivering in your pyjamas and all you want is to slip into a warm hoodie and some socks, and go to the kitchen for a coffee/tea.
Sometimes I wish it was generally accepted to wear your pyjamas to school (or work). No one would look at you like you were a totalretard while you walked down the corridors in striped pants, a warm hoodie and slippers. Not that I'd ever try, I mean, of course I manage to pick something decent every morning...
But this situation is about to change I think! Because when I saw theamazing pyjama-like trousers at Paul Smith, I felt that if I wore those to school, no one would think I looked strange. And Paul Smith wasn't the only one who seemed determined to change the classic pyjamas into a cool fashion statement.

Until these ubercool clothes become avaidable, I'll just have to endure this painful process every morning... But change is about to come!
